Mtv Unplugged 1994

MTV Unplugged in New York was the first Nirvana album released following the death of singer/guitarist Kurt Cobain in April 1994. It was hailed by critics as proof the band was able to transcend the grunge sound they were commonly associated with. It also showcased the band’s diverse taste in music, featuring covers of songs by The Vaselines, David Bowie and The Meat Puppets, and of Leadbelly's folk standard, “Where Did You Sleep Last Night.” The album opened at #1 on the Billboard 200. It was also the first Nirvana album to feature touring guitarist Pat Smear. Of Nirvana's live albums this is the most successful selling millions. (wikipedia)

Live in Argentina (10/30/1992)

This is an excellent pro shot video. It includes the only performance of "Beeswax" after 1988, which was substituted for "Smells Like Teen Spirit" at the last minute after Kurt got upset at the audience for throwing objects at the opening act, Calamity Jane. There are brilliant shots of all 3 members. The picture is clear throughout and is not likely to be higher then 2nd generation. The audio is very good but is a little muffled at times, it is also set to a fairly low volume on the DVD. Includes a completely unknown new song as a set-opener. Review

Setlist: 1. Unknown Song ["Nobody Knows That I'm New Wave"] /2. Aneurysm / 3.Breed / 4.Drain You / 5. Beeswax /6. Live in Kaup, Linz, Austria (11/20/1989)

Shot from an elevated position at the back of what appears to be a very small venue. There are heads in the way of band members below waist height due to the audience being virtually on the stage. The club is well lit which allows for excellent views of the band as well as very good clear close ups. The picture quality is also of very good quality, the audio is however a little thin but still of good quality. The DVD includes the Tad set of the same date. Total running time is 118 mins. The cuts are only in the first bass line of the intro. (livenirvana) (página 12)

Live in Asterdam 1991

Why has a performance this good with such solid sound has never made it's way to a commercially available disc before? In case you missed it on Live Tonight Sold Out, the officially released Nirvana video, this is the show where Kurt screams the Come As You Are lyrics while his guitar is terribly out of tune. The song is massacred and Kurt's reaction makes this a classic concert moment for the band. Incredibly, this track has NEVER been available on a commercial disc until now...(bootlegs.ws)
